Todd Raible
As many did, I started collecting in the 70's going to flea markets and a few shows, and searching in the woods. Prize finds back in the day included an old wooden Duquesne hinged crate, a Duquesne tray and a full Hop 'N Gator all found in my grandmother's home, as well as a Duquesne winter scene zip top behind my high school, where my uncle used to consume them.
My collection got put away into my parents attic when I took too long of a hiatus when I went to college. The western PA portion of the collection was pulled out and displayed for a four year stint in Virginia before returning to PA. Again, they were put away for several years while raising our family.
Coming out of Covid, I saw an advertisement for an Olde Frothingslosh show and decided to check it out. The rest is history - I met several legacy members like Deb and Jerry Lorenz, Will Hartlep, Ron McDonald and Dick Ober, who stoked the fire that had always been burning. I continue to focus on Western PA cans and other breweriana, and also collect flat tops and cone tops from the US.
